Remunerative site where NFL players receive a portion of their salary is being reopened, according to the NFL’s website.
NFL.com reported the reopening.
The site is still live and the NFL has not commented on the matter.
A spokeswoman for the league said in a statement that the NFL is in “regular communication” with the Department of Labor regarding the reworking of the website.
The spokesperson also said that the re-opening is an “emergency” and that “employees will not be able to view the site until they have been provided the required training materials.”
The NFL has been working with the Labor Department to address concerns about the reworked remunerative sites since the site was shut down in January.
The Labor Department’s Wage and Hour Division and the Department for Social Services are reviewing the situation.
